2025 Cooney Scholars
Our 2025 Cooney Scholars will be announced at The Best Night of the Year celebration on June 11, from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at the Siwanoy Country Club. The event honors the achievements of our student-athletes, dedicated coaches, passionate volunteers, and the exceptional 2025 Cooney Scholars.
This year’s celebration will feature a special guest appearance by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, a longtime supporter of Destination: College and a former football teammate of the late Jeff Cooney at Bronxville High School. Commissioner Goodell will participate in a live interview conducted by members of the 2025 Cooney Scholarship class, moderated by esteemed broadcaster and longtime DC volunteer Mary Civiello.
