This past Monday was a big day for one group of Destination: College Juniors. They took part in our Spring 2025 College Trip! This year we took the group to visit Siena College and University at Albany – State University of New York.
Everyone met promptly for the 7.30am bus departure there was excitement for the day ahead. Accompanied by Ms. Michele, Ms. Laura and Ms. Linda, the students explored both campuses and got to participate in information sessions, view a dorm room and campus walking tours.
It was also a great opportunity to meet up with several DC alumni who are now students at both Siena and Albany. Our Juniors were eager to learn first hand from the alumni, who shared their experiences and answered questions.
The students also attended a SUNY Educational Opportunity Program information session which was led by three DC alumni. This program has proven to be a useful resource for students.
Everyone agreed that the day was extremely rewarding and a lot of fun – despite the early start!
