Our mission is to turn athletes into student-athletes.
We support approximately 200 high school athletes at three high schools in Westchester County, New York.
Our efforts are volunteer-driven. Our 65 adult volunteers offer reading and vocabulary programs, homework help, and Regents prep, SAT/ACT prep courses, and assistance with the demanding college and financial aid application process. We currently work at three Westchester County high schools; Mount Vernon, Woodlands (Hartsdale, NY) and Gorton (Yonkers, NY).
Many of the students we serve are on Federal free lunch or otherwise qualify as economically disadvantaged.
Our objective is to ensure that all the student-athletes in our program, regardless of athletic ability, get accepted to a college best suited to their educational needs and financial circumstances.
